We all know that  Guinness World Records is the official site where ultimate record-breaking facts & achievements are being held.

Some of these records are extremely terrific and deathifying.

Here are ten list of incredible and outstanding world records that will surely blow up your mind: 



1. Longest finger nails on a pair of hands (female) - ever


The longest fingernails belonged to Lee Redmond (USA), who started to grow them in 1979 and carefully manicured them to reach a total length of 8.65 m (28 ft 4.5 in) as measured on the set of Lo show dei record in Madrid, Spain, on 23 February 2008. Lee lost her nails in an automobile accident in early 2009.

 2. Largest Pizza - ever

The largest pizza has a total surface area of 1,261.65 m² (13,580.28 ft²) and was prepared by Dovilio Nardi, Andrea Mannocchi, Marco Nardi, Matteo Nardi and Matteo Giannotte (all Italy) from NIPfood at Fiera Roma, in Rome, Italy, on 13 December 2012.

The pizza was named "Ottavia", a word of Roman origin for "eighth son", as a homage to the first Roman emperor Octavian Augustus, who represented an epoch-making change in the history of Rome and brought the Empire into a period of economic and cultural unrest.
Ottavia was 100% gluten-free, educating and spreading a message to the whole world about the importance of health conscious food choices. A gluten-free diet can have a variety of health benefits, including improving cholesterol levels, promoting digestive health, and increasing energy levels. 

3. Longest metal coil passed through the nose and out of the mouth.
The longest metal coil passed through the nose and out of the mouth measured 3.63 m (11 ft 10.91 in) in length and was achieved by Andrew Stanton (USA) on the set of 'Lo Show dei Record' in Rome, Italy, on 31 March 2012.

4. Most straws stuffed in the mouth (hands off)
The most straws stuffed in a mouth is 400, achieved by Simon Elmore (UK), who held them there for 10 seconds at the Mark 'n' Simon Show, Sollhuben, Bavaria, Germany, on 6 August 2009.

5. Longest sword swallowed
Natasha Veruschka (USA) swallowed a sword 58 cm (22.83 in) long sword on Sword Swallowers Awareness Day, 28 February 2009.

6.Lowest limbo skating 

Eleven-year-old Shristi Sharma (India) recently broke the Guinness World Records title for the Lowest limbo skating over 25m, travelling under a course of 25 6.69 inch (17 cm) bars.

The incredible attempt took place at Centre Point School in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India last year and was organised by Lokmat Media Pvt Ltd for the good cause of Save a Girl Child.
As if it isn't challenging enough already, the rules for this title state that the participant’s hands or fingers are not allowed to touch the ground at any point during the attempt.
Holding her body parallel to the floor while maintaining the extremely difficult splits position with her legs, Miss Sharma glided past the previous record of 9 inches (22.86 cm) which was achieved by Medvin Deva (India) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium skating ring in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, back in 2014.
Shristi was previously the record holder for the Lowest limbo skating over 10 m with 16.5 cm (6.5 in), but this was narrowly improved by Shilpa Kamdi (also India) with 16.2 cm (6.3 in) in October 2015.
















7. Farthest eyeball pop
Kim Goodman (USA) can pop her eyeballs to a protrusion of 12 mm (0.47 in) beyond her eye sockets. Her eyes were measured in Istanbul, Turkey, on 2 November 2007.
Measuring the “pop” is an exact science that has to be done by an optometrist using a device known as a proptometer; an average of three measurements gives the final, eye‑watering result.

“Proptosis” is the term for eyeball displacement or bulging eyes. Kim discovered her talent when she was hit on the head by a hockey mask, but can now pop out her eyes on cue.
8. Longest head hair (female)
Xie Qiuping (China) at 5.627 m (18 ft 5.54 in)
The world's longest documented hair belongs to Xie Qiuping (China) at 5.627 m (18 ft 5.54 in) when measured on 8 May 2004.

She has been growing her hair since 1973 from the age of 13.

9. Farthest tightrope walk in high heels

The farthest tightrope walk in high heels is 15.00 m and was achieved by Oxana Seroshtan (Russia) on the set of 'Lo Show dei Record' in Milan, Italy, on 10 July 2014.

As allowed, Oxana used a fan in one hand as a balancing aid. She completed the distance by walking 7.5 m along the tightrope, turning and walking back to the start.
Completing two lengths of the 7.5-m (24-ft 7.2-in) rope, Oxana doubled the existing record.










10. Classics: Largest aerial firework shell

To launch the New Year with a bang, we’re revisiting the moment Alps Fireworks Industry Co. Ltd (Japan) burst into the record books by setting off the Largest aerial firework shellever, at the 13th Kounosu fireworks festival organised by Kounosu Junior Chamber of Commerce, in Kounosu, Saitama, Japan, on 11 October 2014.

An aerial firework shell is defined as a firework whose shell is shot into the air by a mortar and eventually erupts in the sky.
This colossal rocket shell weighed an incredible 464.826 kg (1,024.76 lb), exploding the previous record of 418 kg (921.53 lb) which was achieved by by Zenji Honda at the Katakai Fireworks Festival in Ojiya, Niigata, Japan back in 1985.

The huge firecracker reached an awe-inspiring 907 m (2,975 ft 8.66 in) from the ground to the top of the explosion, 533 m (1,748 ft 8.25 in) from the ground to the centre, and measured 748 m (2,454 ft 0.81 in) in diameter when it was launched.
Official Guinness World Records adjudicator Mariko Koike observed the record first-hand and was able to confirm its success at the event.
